What do you do?
We do most of the stuff with fighting games in and around Liverpool, meaning we chat about and organise events for games like Street Fighter, Tekken, Guilty Gear, Melty Blood, King of Fighters and loads more games! We have a free and open weekly casuals session every Thursday, and an open bracket tournament once a month on a Saturday.
What’s weekly casuals?
Once a week on Thursday from 4PM, anyone can come down to Leveltap, 45 Hanover Street, L1 3DN in Liverpool’s town centre and play casual sets of whatever game they like until we close up, at around 10PM. For drivers, paid parking is available nearby. We’ll provide the PS4 setups and the games (but if you have something exotic you want to bring with you then feel free), just bring your own controller that works on a PS4 and you’ll be set! You never know, there might even be a little tournament to play in your favourite game, or a mystery game nobody has heard of!
What about monthly tournaments?
Our monthly tournament series Merseybeats is on a Saturday toward the end of every month also at Leveltap. For a venue fee of £5 and a per-game entry of £5, compete in a double elimination bracket against the best fighters in Liverpool to win a cash prize!
